4. Integrating Curriculum
What are ways you can integrate the character traits into your daily instruction?

I think integrating the traits into your morning meeting and/or caring kid meeting is a great place to start with some quick discussion and examples.
Lining up with a character chant is a fun way to incorporate the traits into something you already have to do. I call mine character camp and we march a chant to the tune of "I don't know, but I've been told." We have a motion for each trait, so I might say line up showing me compassion and the students line up giving themselves a big hug.
1. Click on one of the ten essentials. (in white letters) 2. If there are comments, scroll down to the last one and click on "Post a Comment." (in small white letters) 3. Leave your comment in the box. 4. Select other for identity and type your name in the name box. 5. Then click on Publish My Comment.
